Discussion Question #2

Google is strict with their policies because of click fraud(CF), the act of clicking on ads for the purpose of costing the advertising money or publisher revenue. Click Fraud(CF) is the term that describe the concept. Clicking on ads (with no intention to buy) the advertisers will lose money, the publisher might gain(for a while) but eventually, the publisher would loose out on the special gifts that are freely giving to the public and they will also be taking away the fair enjoyment of other. Majority of web host are offering access logs, once you accept an access log, give it to Google, this allow Google to look for any suspicious activity on your site. Giving Google access is saying that you would want to help them in any way you can in solving the problem. Google combat this problem by giving you helpful tips in detecting click fraud (CF), but, Google, itself have a sophisticated algorithms in place that enable them to detect click fraud(CF), they keep the details under wraps so illicit clicker can't used the information to undermine the system. The steps that Google is using to combat these problems, I think is ethical.
